I am 57 years old. My hair has become thin and baby-fine as a result of both medication and heredity. Additionally, I don't really know how to talk to a stylist. I would very much appreciate recommendations both for hairstyles and for how to communicate with a professional in such a way that I would actually end up with that recommended hairstyle on my head! Many, many thanks.

When she brushes it and wears it down, it bushes it out and she looks like a cocker spaniel. I have tried to tell her not to brush it and let it dry…Continue
This past week has been a whirlwind! Last Monday I did a 12 hour shoot for a show on Lifetime Television called The Balancing Act, where with the help of Donna, Leila, and Stephen (all stylists at my salon), I did complete makeovers on three models. All of the ladies had gray hair - some had already been colorist it and others had not. (You may have received an email about the casting call a couple of weeks ago and I also posted on this blog about it). I used the new Inoa Supreme hair color…Continue

First of all I am not related to the shop I want to recommend. I heard you, Eva, ask for good Beauty Salons to recommend on Martha Stewart Radio. This is:
R S Kaley for Hair, 1611 Montana Ave., Santa Monica, CA 90403.
