Hi there!
I've tried threading twice now, and I love how my eyebrows look. I also had my upper lip done both times, and although it removes the hair, it seems to traumatize the skin. I get little red bumps that ultimately look like pimples and don't completely go away for several days. I don't have acne prone skin; my complexion is clear but my skin is sensitive. Is this a common threading problem and is there anything I can do to prevent this? The hair on my upper lip is light and fine, so I guess I could just live with it.
Thanks!

Threading can actually be very irritating to the skin, as you have already experienced. I recommend that you find a waxing expert who uses hard wax (not wax that's removed with strips). This is much more gentle on the skin, especially the sensitive areas. At our salon, we use a French hard wax that we've had great results with for years, with women who have sensitive skin. Hope this helps.

Best
