I would like to share an experience I've had this summer. For several years I had problems with some of my toe nails growing thicker. I found out that it was probably fungus (gross I know) but I was reluctant to use any medications. While using Tea Tree Oil for another issue I noticed that it states it is an ani-fungal and thought it was worth a try. Now after several months my beautician tells me normal nail is growing in to replace the damaged nail. So it seems to be working. I'm looking forward to completely healthy nails within a few months without the damage to my liver that a medication could cause. I realize that everyone is different but it is working for me. Maybe it will help someone else to know this.

Thanks for sharing. I think Dr. Oz had mentioned something about Tea Tree Oil on Oprah's website and I was going to try it.

My second toe nail on each foot is really thick and has this greyish "stuff" under it.  I wonder if that's what you have.  I do have tea tree oil.  I will try it!
