Eyeliner Issues

I would like to use an eye pencil to line inside the rim of my lower lash line but it smudges almost immediately because of the moisture in the canthus.  Is there a trick to preventing this from happening or is it product dependent?  When I see celebrities with this look I rarely see any "smudginess."  Is this look even fashionable in the rest of the country anymore?  Any advice you guys have would be appreciated!  Thanks!

Hi Marie,

I like a brown as opposed to a black pencil to line the inner rim. I find it softer on the eye. Brown does not smudge like black does and looks less harsh in general. An eye pencil I recommend is Granit from T. LeClerc.
