Hello,

Could you recommend an under-eye concealer that actually hides dark circles, or does such a thing even exist? All the ones I have tired--from cheap to expensive--do not seem to work. Thanks.

Ditto on the Lancome Effacernes Waterproof for under eyes. It's all I've been using for over a year and I love it. I tried the YSL Touch Eclat and after my second tube of it, I finally figured out that after you've had it about a 6-7 weeks, it gets bacteria in the brush and goes bad. Once that happens, when I continued to use it, I ended up at the doctors' office with crusty patches under my eyes that eventually scabbed over. Think the dark circles look bad - not quite! I don't recommend any type of concealer where the applicator brush touches your skin. Little did I know it was my hard-to-procure $37.50 tube of YSL that had done the deed. I got one tube on my way through Birmingham at that Saks and the other on a trip to New Orleans - no Saks in Mississippi! Users beware. Fabulous product, but the risk is too great for me to try it again. Plus, I think the Lancome Waterproof actually covers better and stays put longer.
I too love Lancome's Effercernes waterproof concealer. As a MUA for nearly 20 years, I have personally used it on myself and clients. I also like the YSL Touch Eclat as a highlighter on top of the most recessed area if darkness is still a huge problem. If you do use the YSL PLEASE be sure to wash you brush every few days, and more frequently if you regularly touch up during the day, and dry it with a clean tissue or towel to avoid bacteria issues. (You should do this with any brush item). Also, remember not to take your concealer out all the way to the end under the eye if there is no discoloration there. This will only call attention to the fact that you are wearing concealer. A little eye cream warmed between your fingers and lightly patted on top of the concealer helps add a fresh look if you must take it all the way under the eye. I hope this helps!
